Why to become a body builder?

So I have received a few emails asking me why I want to become a body builder so I thought I would clarify it all here.

Firstly I am entering the body sculpting/bikini section of the sport which does not mean I lose my femininity or bulk up into a big scary female, it actually means I am leaning down and lowering my body fat% so that I have a defined a shapely figure. See photo below.

I have copy and pasted the below text from here which explains the type of competition I am entering. You can also see more information here.

Bikini
This division is pretty misunderstood I think (they all probably are, actually). The goal is not just to be skinny with big boobs, like one might assume from it’s title.
In person, most good bikini competitors look more “fit” than the average person and would be considered pretty lean by most standards. The idea is to look athletic and fit, but also feminine, and to have good muscle “tone” without necessarily being “big”.

The posing for bikini is easier than for figure or bodybuilding, assuming you can channel your inner swag/sass! It’s supposed to be a little more fun and feminine/flirty than figure or bodybuilding, and there is no judging from a side view… Only front and back.

So I hope that clarifies my goals for you. I have posted a photo below which shows you exactly what I aim to look like at competition time (Give and take some muscle obviously as I have a completely different body shape). This is Marzia Prince and you can check out an interview from her here:

And lets be honest muscles are very sexy.
